I had to ask the girls I babysit who they were and the author! I've never read Percy Jackson by the girls say I have to!

It's a scythe, and I think it's from a Final Fantasy site but... shhhh, it looked cooler than just a regular old metal/wooden one :)

Ah I have the same problem - so many books I've read since LOTR just seem like cheap knock-offs (Terry Brooks, I'm looking at you, sir). I'm getting more tolerant in my old age though - or maybe it's just the fact I'm hardly reading anything except fanfiction these days!

Yessss! I have a bookcase of books that are begging me to read them... And I try, I do, but then someone updates a new story and how could I not choose fanfiction!? I mean, that would be doing a disservice to all of the hard-working writers out there, right?!
