Holy shit! What a memorable ( in a bad category) honeymoon that must have been!

Have a girlfriend who had spider bite on her calf pick up the flesh-eating bacteria. Like with your arm, they wanted to amputate above the knee. She asked to have the calf mound removed first then if that didn't work she'd allow more..... thank God it worked. After lots of therapy her worst reminder is wearing pants for rest of time to cover the disfigured lower leg.

Thank God you survived, sweetheart. We would have lost a promising young writer and your husband would be missing a lady who sounds like a terrific partner.
